Don't worry about the part number, you may or not not see it listed.  
Look for the type of iBook.

I bought a Newer Technologies battery from www.macsales.com for my G4 
iBook when the old one dried up.  The Newer Tech has worked very well.  
It has a significantly higher A-h rating than the Apple battery.  I know 
it runs longer but I've never tried quantifying it.

www.macsales.com shows three battery types for the iBook, one for all 
clam shell models, one for 12" screen models and one for 14" screen 
models.  So it's pretty simple to pick one.
