How to Multiply an Image in GraphicConverter or ImageMagick?

by qquito <qquito@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 30, 2008 at 07:51 PM

Dear Everyone:

I use the GraphicConverter (V5.4.1 Rev 2) and ImageMagick (V6.3.3) on
my Mac machine.

I have a source image named "pic.jpg", and I wonder if it is possible
to create the following:

1.) A NEW image in which there are two identical copies of "pic.jpg"
side by side, or one above the other; or more generally,

2.) A NEW image in which there are N identical copies of "pic.jpg"
arranged as a row, or a column, or as an m times n matrix.

Could this be easily done with either GraphicConverter or ImageMagick
and how?

Thank you for reading and replying!
