I'm not sure what you meant by 'Reload # 2 not OK'. I hit the reload 
button twice and nothing changed. I closed Safari, opened it, cleared 
cache and had no problem again. Also, I can squeeze my browser window 
horizontally until all the pictures come up in a single column after 
they're loaded. I didn't try that stunt while they were loading. 
I'm impressed for web design purposes unrelated to the OS. The enormous 
amount of thumbs loaded quickly enough on 56k for me and they flowed to 
the page width. 
On the other hand, it would be optimal if it worked for everyone.
