How would I deal with the text at the top and the bottom of the page if

window becomes to narrow to display it. The text is a graphic so that it 
appears in the intended font whether or not the viewing person has that

installed.

I'm not sure a site which is intended to display the works of a
photographer

You are correct in that I am thinking in terms of a "table" layout.
Perhaps 
more precisely, I am thinking of a layout where the positioning of the 
various items in relation to one another is predetermined.

Free****t is in the Bahamas. Freeway is a WYSIWYG website development tool.
