Safari shows Quicktime music control, blue fuzzy borders on the
thumbnails, and pop-ups that can not be resized.

Luckily, if you switch Plugs ins and Javascript off, you get rid of the
music (normally I close any window that plays music at me), and you get
rid of the blue fuzzy hover effect (one of the perils of styling with
Javascript instead of CSS is that more people block Javascript than
override CSS).

Although this setting makes the popups resizeable, they don't pop up.
Instead they replace the existing page, so you have to use the back
button to return to it.

My main point is that the web page designer doesn't really have control
of how people will view pages. Trying to force it simply annoys those
viewers who like to do their own settings.

Must admit however that I am impressed that Freeway produced valid code,
and that it was still capable of being viewed in a reasonable way when
most of the effects were blocked.
