Can another G3 user get in on that?
My Aging G3 Desktop is running an IBM G74 monitor which I got a few
years back on the refurb rack at a local store for cheap money (undr
$100 at the time) but its developing a bright stripe about 1/2 way
down from the top and some other manifestations that tell me its on
the way out soon. In fact if I shut it off, it takes a long time for
it to fully pull the image open and it stays all wavy at the top until
its warmed up and stabalized.
So I know I'm in for a new monitor soon. I've put in the order to
Santa Claus and am waiting to see what happens, but I suspect that I
may need to add video RAM myself. I'm certain it has just the stock 2
MB installed.
