I need a program that can do vector graphics and save in
Adobe Illustrator format. It MUST save in Illustrator
format without a hitch or it's useless to me.
It needs to run under Linux or (preferably) Mac OS X.
The obvious choice would be Illustrator itself for Mac, but I only need
very limited capabilities for a simple one-time project, so I think
spending $$$$ might not make sense.
By the way, I have Adobe Studio 8 for Mac on order, so if any
of the apps in that package can do simple graphics and save in
Illustrator format, my problem will be solved.
