PDF Document Prints Incorrectly from Acrobat, Correctly from Preview

I have a PDF which I created in InDesign. If I open the PDF in Acrobat Pro 
and print it doesn't print correctly. If I open the PDF in Preview and
print 
it prints correctly.

A page that shows the difference is the first page in which the
transparent 
background of the "Jag-A-Dillo" is not transparent when printed in
Acrobat.

Is there something I perhaps should do differently in InDesign to correct 
this problem?
