That's an interesting problem I hadn't considered before. Most of the time

when I see people not wanting to get an iMac it's because of a lack of 
expandability. But wanting to share a display is definitely a good reason.

It's too bad Apple doesn't have something that fits your needs. Maybe by 
the time you need to upgrade they will.

I just got a Mac Pro. It totally crushes what I spend most of the time 
doing, development, and while I haven't tried it much, from what I've seen

it does a spectacular job on games, especially if I upgraded the default 
video card. It is kind of a pricey machine though.
