I know; I just noticed it had been since August that I last tried
out ``Victoria'', which is a mighty fun game that makes Europa Universalis

II look perfectly trivial in its play. I know where some of the time
went, sure -- like my little Bob Newhart Show marathon, now that I have
the DVDs for the first two seasons. But overall? ...

But I did set aside some time just for that the past half-week
and I've cracked one of the great mysteries of Victoria, specifically,
what ``Expand'' means on the resource-gathering tile on a province.
Now there's just the challenge of translating the *rest* of the manual
into a human-readable language.
