WoW and combat logs

by Lewis <gkreme@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 23, 2008 at 06:11 AM

I have wow installed on my MacPro and also on a wintendo in the next
room.

I use combat logs a lot, and feed them to analyzer programs and such,
but what I notice is that on the Mac, the log frequently stops writing,
gets overwritten at each login, and sometimes never gets created at all.
Sometimes I will be trying to run a log from an instance run and I only
have the first third of the run, then have to beg other players for
their logs.

On the PC, the current combat log is 42MB and dates back to July of last
year.

This is exactly what I want on my Mac, but it seems that WoW Mac simply
keeps overwriting the file, sometimes at random.

Has anyone noticed anything like this? Or best yet, found a solution?
