Today I installed my new Air****t Extreme, replacing the Linksys WRT54GC
wireless router that I've used for the past couple of years. What is
surprising is the improvement I am experiencing in the setup time when I
sign
onto one of my several accounts, both administrator and user. Upon signing
onto any of my accounts an Automator script runs which launches three
"utility" applications, MenuShade, Mousepose 2, and Quicksilver. Prior to
the
switch to the Air****t Extreme the Automator script routinely took about 3
1/2
minutes to complete. Subsequent to the switch the Automator script runs in
just under 60 seconds. I'm curious as to what the explanation for this
unexpected improvement might be.
