Saving Records as Individual Text Files

Hello all,

I hope you FMP and scripting gurus can help me. :-)

I have an ancient but useful FMP 3 era database that I need to archive
as individual text files, one per record. The database represents an
older helpdesk system we used. Each record reflects a problem call and
has log entries as well as a solution field. The database itself is
composed of 4 files, a main file plus 3 sup****t files.

Each file should have the record number as its name and contain all
fields, be they client info fields or log entries.

Is this possible and if so how? I haven't done any serious coding in
quite a while so would need a fairly detailed answer if one exists.
