I too can get to the Adobe.com home page, multimedia gimmicks and all.
What you're describing sounds like some kind of DNS problem. Try
checking your DNS servers in the System Preferences prefpane to make
sure those are correct. Make sure you've got both a primary and
secondary DNS entry from your ISP. If that doesn't seem to be the
problem, I'd contact the ISP tech sup****t and ask if other people are
having the same problem. It's not impossible that BellSouth's DNS
system is futzked.
