Recently I bought a new iMac and transfered all my stuff via Firewire
to the new machine. In the process, many configurations were corrupted
as internet/e-mail/usenet connections were broken. After two hours of
discussions with my ISP tech sup****t and then Apple's, I re-
established the internet and e-mail. Unfortunately, when later I
downloaded a new copy of MT-NW -- the old disappeared into the ether
-- I installed but it would not connect to the isp to get usenet using
MT-NW.
When I contacted the ISP tech sup****t, I had to teach the techie all
about newsgroups/Usenet. She had no idea what I was talking about. no
newsgroups via Mt-NW. I'm sending this via Google Groups. What a POS,
but then everyone says that.
Can some one out the help me out with my problem. Any help would be
mucho appreciated.
