Disconnecting from Active Directory

Has anyone joined their work AD in Leopard?

If so, do you have problems loggin in when the AD servers are unreachable?

My first three installs of Leopard in a PB17 PPC@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
 kept hanging at
home 
until I stopped joining the AD.
