I'm confused by your question. Did you want to know how to create a
filter that will add highlight colors or how to add colors to those
filters. (Just having morning coffee now so I'm still naturally confused
;).)
Example of creating a filter: If message from (You, email@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
for
newsgroups.com) highlight (select colors).
In this same window, there are two overlapping color swatches visible.
The top one changes text color. The one underneath, changes background
color. Click on either swatch to show a box of colors to choose from.
Click a color to select it or click Other to create a custom color.
The filter is applied to the list of available messages - the list that
shows author, subject, date and similar details as line items. With the
example filter in action, messages sent by you are shown with the colors
selected in your filter.
