Did you, now? The fact is, the above referenced article clearly says that.
It
also says "Apple hasn't said how many have registered for this event this
year, but had to cap further ticket sales due to space limitations." That
means more than 5000. How many more? We don't know.
But because you seem so dense about the logistical side of a conference
like
this, let me repeat: (Apple) "had to cap further ticket sales due to space
