My experience is that apps, in general, won't let users change the icon.
I've 
wanted to change the stupid icons that Adobe exchanged for the useful ones

they used to have in their creative suite ever since it came out, and it 
won't let me. I mean, A butterfly, a feather, and a flower. Yeah, they
sure 
tell me which application is which all right! Dumb!
