Conversion to/from old style .toc files?

by AES <siegman@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 6, 2008 at 08:37 PM

Is the conversion to or from old style .toc files likely to correct
errors in email metadata -- screwed up Subject: lines in particular?

Specific case at hand: My wife moved her Eudora folder (which
had not been using .toc files) from a nonstandard location on her
MacBook Leopard to the Do***ents folder, as recommended.

Now the Subject: lines in mailbox windows seem to be mixed up,
i.e. no they no longer match up with actual messages.

Is checking the "Use old style .toc files" preference and
rebuilding (compressing) mailboxes likely to correct this?
