I don't know if the Unix line endings will work, but the "Classic" Mac
endings definitely will.  Since they do, I suspect the Unix line endings
won't.

I'm not sure, but I think not.  If the file is not automatically
recognized by Eudora, you can set Eudora as the application to use for
opening the file.  (Select the file in the Finder and choose "Open
with..." under File, or "Get info" under File and set Eudora as the
application.)  You do need to have the file (or an alias pointing to it)
where Eudora expects to find it, which would be under ~/Do***ents/Eudora
Folder/Mail folder.
