I have followed the advice on the Eudora Tech. sup****t site on how to
move Eudora data from PC to Mac. For some reason, the use of (ASCII-mode)
FTP
didn't work; Eudora on the Mac would re****t an invalid mailbox format (or
words to that effect) for those mailboxes transferred via FTP. We ended
up
copying the mailboxes and other personal data via SMB and using
TextWrangler
to fix the line endings. This was much more successful.
After all was said and done, there's one outstanding issue. Is there
any way to re-establish the connections between the messages and
attachments?
For any attachment, it's rather annoying to track it down by noting the
file
name cited in the corresponding message and then locate it from the
Finder.
Thanks,
Mike
