RealPlayer won't play in Safari

I just updated RealPlayer when it told me a new version was available.
It had been playing without prompting when I clicked on a realplayer
file on amazon, for example. Now it downloads the file to disk, and I
have to double click on it. 

My safar plugins page tells me the extension for realplayer files is
rm, and the files being downloaded are ram. How do I fix this?
