Some apps will only show a 'dumbed down' version number when you look in
their get info menus. Generally you can get the real version number by
selecting the application file in the Finder and do a Get Info there.
BTW, I've got to admit I don't remember if there perhaps really was only
one 4.8 ever released, but I'd find it hard to imagine.
