Hi guys,
I'm heading overseas for a few weeks, and my fiancee is not.
She will have a 20" iMac running 10.5 at home.
I will have an ancient G3 iBook running 10.2.8 (yes yes, I know) with me
while travelling.
I am trying to sort out a simple way of chatting (audio) over the net
between these two machines.
Yahoo messenger sup****ts video, but not audio, on the Mac. Yay.
MSN Messenger doesn't sup****t anything on the Mac. Yay even more.
Skype is brilliant under 10.4 / 10.5, however there is no version old
enough to run on my iBook under 10.2.8 (or I haven't found it if there
is).
iChat runs happily on both machines, but the version on the iBook under
10.2.8 doesn't sup****t (you guessed it) audio.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!! :-)
