Bummer Chris - hope it helps.  Just of interest to the group I purchased
Undercover from Orbicule ( http://www.orbicule.com/undercover/
) which not
only tracks stolen macs via IP number but takes screen shots and pictures
of
the thief with the inbuilt isight camera.  They have some very
entertaining
stories about recovering macs.  Police like it as they an actual photo of
the thief.
