I recently took delivery of a new 20" iMac, 2.4GHz and took the option
of upgrading the HD to 500GB.
Looking at system profiler though, I see that the capacity of my HD is
shown as 465.76GB, with a lesser amount available due to the usual
suspects.
I would have thought that the capacity shown should be 500GB?
Any thoughts or answers?
I have emailed my supplier with this question but no answer yet, so I
thought I'd "ask the audience'
