First impressions are...
Dislike the interface of
stacks (the icon in the dock is of a random do***ent in a folder -
WTF?)
quick look (almost all icons are made to be first page of the
do***ent). I'd rather see them as a word do***ent, or excel...
3D dock. Bleh!
Transparent menu bar. Bleh!
New look folder icons (which also inhabit all places - including
safari bookmarks). Bleh!
The icons in the sidebar are all little and tiny, and hard to read
(and don't resize when you resize the sidebar).
Now for the things I do like...
A lot of the geeky things (e.g. library/code location radomization,
Objective C with garbage collection)
Losing a network drive no longer causes the finder to freeze up (This
is the biggest thing! Yay!).
Connecting network drives is different, but I suspect it will be
better once I get used to it.
DVD player is much better (you can scrub through the disc).
System preferences Network pane is easier to use.
Spaces is cool!
