Hi all
Just replaced by Geforce4MX (64 Mb video card RAM) in my 1Gz G4 FW800
tower
with a Radeon 9800 mac pro card (128MB RAM). I run 2x15' LCD monitors at
1024x768. However, after installing the latest drivers from ATI etc I did
xbench results and the OpenGL and Quartz test results were actually lower
than the previous and supposedly inferior Geforce card. I also tested
xplane
and the frame rate was not changed at all between cards (19-22). Using a
single monitor made no difference either. Any clues as to why this new
card
should perform so poorly.
