Hi. About Safari - Was there ever an arrow key to go back to the previous page?

I think I'm trippin'.  All of a sudden I'm finding that to go back one
page I now have to do a Command [ to backtrack to previous pages. I'd
swear I didn't have to do that before. But now I've no choice. Wasn't
there an arrow to click to go back? And if there was - where'd it go?
