A kernel task is a lower level task of the operating system. For example,
communication between an application and a printer. Since these are the
guts
of the system, so to speak, in general you *should* always allow them.
In the years of my using OS X, I have never had a kernel task "pop up" on
my
screen, so I would say that this might be behavior to be concerned about.
Unfortunately I am not sure what to do about it. Perhaps another reader
might
be more knowledgeable.
