How about the ones that get good reviews? One of the nicest parts of
VersionTracker is the user ratings.

Not entirely true. Data can be recovered from disks even after multiple
overwrites. But this is probably beyond any software on VersionTracker.
For
that type of recovery, you are probably needing to send your disk to a
professional recovery service.
