Sorry, I see from the header that you are using 10.3.9.
If you are talking about the Filevault master password, I did find a
possible
fix.

Keep in mind that this is not a money back guaranteed fix, and that I am
not
saying that I know this will work, or that I know it will not completely
erase your hard drive. I doubt that this will happen, but I just want to
let
you know that you should always back up your data, and be prepared for the
necessity of re-installing everything, especially when you do work on the
guts of the OS.
Good luck. Let me know if it is not the Filevault master password that you
are trying to reset.
