  My thanks to all who responded re my router query. Solved it.

  Got some problems with saving JPG's now. May be back next week if I
can't
  work out.

  General comment: So far I've found Apple's OS to be fairly
  straight-forward. No more problems than I've had with Windows over the
  years. I've fought buying a Dummies or Robin Williams book. May have to.
