MacBook Woes

by TonyPA <tonyc150@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Oct 28, 2007 at 08:56 PM

Hi all....

I bought a new MacBook 2.16mhz, 120GB unit.
It's been flawless so far. Maybe a glitch or two
where I had to force quit, but this morning,
disaster struck. I was online surfing when I got
a dialog box asking me to shut down. I did so
and when I tried to restart, not much happened.
I did everything that was asked of me in the
Apple book that came with the computer. I even
attempted to restart from the disc and nothing
again. Most times I don't get a screen, sometimes
I get a white screen and nothing else. I've rebooted
and got a few chimes then nothing. On a few
occasions, I got three high pitched beeps and the
the l.e.d. light on the front would flash three times.

I need opinions. Is this a RAM issue?

Thanks,
Tony
