Yes, the help menu is nice, but for reference purposes to stuff you
already (more or less) understand but don't remember the details for.

But if you're clueless you really don't know which search-words to
input, so as a tutorial it's not very good in my opinion.
I think either step-by-step tutorials showing how to do specific tasks
or a book which explains the various parts of the computer which you
can browse through might be the way to go.
I'm going to suggest that "missing manual" book to her.

In the meantime, I'm trying to find some sort of free online tutorial,
but without much success.
For starters she could do with something like a Mac overview: "this is
the Finder, which is the desktop".... "this is how you start a
program", "this is how you create a new folder" etc.
Anyone know of something like that?
