Burning CDs compatible with MacOS 7.6?

by "no-spam2@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <no-spam2@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 26, 2007 at 12:18 PM

How can I burn a data-CD on my (MacOS 10.4.9) Powerbook G4 so that
it'll be fully compatible with an old 68K Mac running MacOS 7.6.1?

I burnt several CDs (with files and software) on the 68K Mac to begin
with, but needed to re-organize their contents only to burn new CDs.
Naturally, being burnt on the 68K Mac (using Toast) all the creator
codes etc. are kept. Naturally I want this to work as before, but I'm
a little worried that since not all my files (especially text files,
graphics etc.) have filename endings, and that MacOS X might mess
things up, because it doesn't use creator codes, does it?

On the Powerbook I only have free burning software in addition to the
built in burn option of MacOSX.
