Apps for rescuing data

Im looking for apps that can retrieve/rescue data from HFS partitions
that have gone bad. I seem to know that 2 apps can do his job.
1. "Stellar Phoenix Macintosh" that runs for Winxp and
2. "Data Rescue 2" that runs on MacOSX

plz help me, its a 200GB HFS partitioned HD and im almost going nuts.
