Im****t /etc/hosts into BIND?

by Evan Platt <evan@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 25, 2008 at 12:44 PM

Is there a way to 'im****t' or have Bind use my /etc/hosts file?

I have my mac as a DNS server, and put in a list of known adaware and
banner sites. Works on the mac itself, but on a machine on the LAN
using the mac as a DNS server, the machine (XP box) still properly
resolves the hostname, ignoring the /etc/hosts on the mac.

Hope this makes sense.

Or is there a better way to accomplish this?

Thanks. :)

Evan
