Vista Woes

January's PC World magazine..........
They report there is little difference between the 32 and 64 bit, except
the
32 bit is actually FASTER!! So, lets get this straight, you pay MORE for a

64 bit computer, buy VISTA and get LESS.... (Hard to believe Gates is a
billionaire with this type of thinking!) . Many users went back to the
32bit version due to the lack of 64 bit drivers. AND, M$ Vista won't let
you
use ANY 64 bit drivers that M$ hasn't approved, (I wonder if approval has
something to do with paying Gates?) If M$ doesn't do better than the have
with security certificates those who have the 64 bit system will be very
disappointed when it comes time to run certain hardware!

Now, I can't remember the source, but I remember all of us around the
water
cooler talking about the one article somewhere that compared XP with
Vista,
both 32 and 64 bit. In all cases, VISTA was slower, AND, it ran slower on
Dual Core machines!! As I stated, I can't substantiate it at this time, I
can't remember the article but definitely read it.

VISTA is 100% on the side of Hollywood, try opening some jpeg files and
surprise, you get a message that its copywriter material!

Conclusion, I will not be buying Vista at all, AND Office 07 went too far
on
the simplicity side and its now burdensome for those who don't need all
the
extra movements so they don't get lost. Instead, I bought my daughter a
Mac,
and I'm getting a Mac, and my wife is getting a Mac. If not for any other
reason than to send a message to Gates that I refuse to support his dis
honest ways of doing business. He's been a dishonest person in the past
and
I don't see any reason to believe differently now with this release of
Vista.

BTW, how is Mac for trading in real time Stocks/options etc?
