I checked your machine on MacTracker. It can take 9.1 Apple Part
#M8081LL/A(Full
CD). That should include all features of 8.6 and upgrades you to 2001
instead of 1999.
There was a box for 8.5 which then upgraded to 8.6. Those may be in the
Apple archives of system software. I would recommend 9.1. You will have
to upgrade your Norton also, soon.
