Mac Monitor problems

by "Andrew Roberts" <andrew_s_roberts@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 9, 2004 at 02:57 PM

Hi everyone,

I dont really know how to use a macintosh, i am a PC technician but we
have
two Macs at my office. My question is on one of the macs running mac os
10.2.8 has an ilyama monito and everytime i open pictures in photoshop 7
they are very saturated in colour. When i open these in another program
they
look alright. I changed the monitor for a nice flat screen one, just for a
test and when i do that the pictures really look a lot better. So i
believe
there is something wrong with the monitor. The thing that is strange to me
is that when useing the monitor in the OS it looks normal, its just when
trying to edit photos etc in photoshop.

Do i need to install a new driver or something for the monitor? If i do
need
to do that, how do i install new drivers etc?

Thanks
Andrew
